- I have many, many, many, etc. more pictures! I will try to change them periodically. I was in Liverpool for the International Beatle Festival, celebrating 50 years of the Beatles; from the day John & Paul met on the grounds of St.Peter's in Woolton in July 1957 to August 2007! It was an 8 day week full of The Beatles' music played by 200 bands from all over the world. It was the most wonderful trip I have ever been on and I hope to go back in 2010 because my credit card should be payed off by then lolololol!!!

- they changed my life with their music...it's hard to explain the way I felt when I heard them for the first time...it was like an awakening to a part of me I didn't know was there!

- this is difficult...I have way too many "favorites"...you know...the songs that you say "oh this is my favorite - I love this song" to everyone that you hear?! But I will say that one of the most beautful songs they ever wrote is BECAUSE!

- I like books written by people like Deepak Chopra and Dr. Andrew Weil; autobiograhpies and Mind-Body-Spirit information; books on religion also. No Harlequin romance novels for me...YUCK! And even tho it's not a book, I learn everything I need to know from Rolling Stone Magazine!
- My Favorite People:
- all my close family members and friends (you know who you are!) My Canadian friends The Caverners (Canada's Premier Beatle Tribute Band), and all the people and groupies, Canadian and American alike, that follow them around!! I've met so many cool people as a result of my relationship with The Caverners, who ,btw, play the best Rock 'n Roll as Flat Broke (with the addition of the bass player, Chris Putman alias, Gordo!) north of the border! I'm so glad I have my passport!
- My Favorite Places:
- went to the UK in August of 2007 for the International Beatle Festival (can't wait to go back!!) the side trips to London, Manchester and Dublin, Ireland were awesome as well! Don't think I can top that vacation anytime soon! My favorite places include just about anywhere I can have a good time...from the corner bar to across the Atlantic!
- My Favorite Things:
- my dog Casey...all 13 years of her! I love being with people but I also love being alone. And I LOVE CHOCOLATE!!!

I thought I would have new ones, but the fesitval wasn't held there again this year due to conflicting engagements but I understand there will be another AROTR Belleville next year! I still have a few more pics from Abbey Road on the River Louisville from last month that I will painstakingly post due to the fact that my computer is old and tired and it ain't easy uploading!

I finally added some pics of Paul McCartney in Quebec. I took more but these are among my favorites. Now I have to work on adding pics from Abbey Road on the River Canada held in Belleville, Ont Aug 1-3 - what a great time!! If you haven't gone, make it a point to go next year. It's a smaller version of Abbey Road on the River, Louisville and closer to me!

Thank you so much for sharing! You never know when someone's not going to know about something coming on! I recorded the Kremlin special, but I haven't seen it yet. I've heard it was VERY interesting, though :]
PBS has just showed The Beatles take on the Kremlin which is a documentary on how the Beatles changed the Russian Youth Movement in the 1960's and how popular they are still in Russia today.

The only bad thing about the Beatles was the smoking!!!!!!! Bad habit and unfortunately with George passing from cancer it could of been smoking soo much.
