- Oh I agree. I believe that John saw something beautiful in her - even though most of the world saw her as a nasty witch who stole him from The Beatles....
Yes, John was human.. we all make mistakes, and sometimes, we decide for things that might not be the best, either. I may be thinking that John wanted to start a new life with Yoko, when he was actually ready to be a family man. I feel sorry for Julian and Cynthia. But John had to find who he was and Yoko helped him.
My mom and I have been in a similar situation. My parents had broken off their relationship. I have not seen my father for years. I do not blame anybody for it.
I love how John was very honest with himself in his songs - "Jealous Guy" "I was the Walrus" "Crippled Inside" "Isolation"... many more... "Nowhere Man"...
They are songs true to the heart :)

- Wow! It happens to me, too, when I turn on my radio - BAM! The Beatles are playing :D I think it may be a way of John's spirit letting us know he appreciates us as being fans of his music.
I see your art... I love it!
I feel the way that John is locked in a cage, greatly. That is like me when I hide from the world because I am too scared sometimes to be set free without someone to help me out.
Haha but I wonder what was Yoko's intentions ;) of her handling the key to his cage? She looks evil! :P

Oh yes, everything in the world is here in New York. You name it, you got it! Very exotic, indeed. Although, sometimes, I wish were a tourist here, too. I think to truly appreciate NY is if you are new to this place, and never came here before - then everything is magical.
Over here, there is a district called "Little Italy", so I guess, if you ever visit ;) you will feel at home there! Ha! And I would really like to visit Milan :D that would be cool if that is called "little NY" :D There are so many Italians who live in New York! and so many restaurants too - pizzerias, Italian restaurants..
Oh yes, John really loved New York. But I wonder why did someone have to hunt him down and do something so terrible. This December 8th will be too sad for me. I wish maybe I could go someplace else. I cannot handle this kind of despair living in the city.
Ha - was it your intention to let your son be born on Oct. 9th? ;) and to name your daughter Julia? There is a fan on this site named Julia because her parents are Beatles fans :) but she loves Paul the most!
My mother is a John/Beatles fan but unfortunately, I wasn't named after a girl from a Beatles song haha. Maybe when I have a child, (or pet!) then I will pick a Beatley name!
I'm going to go see the John museum sometime. I don't know when yet. I just want someone to go with me and when I'm feeling good enough in this cold!
(Ironically, my radio is now playing "Good Day Sunshine!" :o)

I see that you also became a fan on your 14th birthday! I, too, became a fan on MY 14th birthday when I wanted to rent a movie for my mom - it was "A Hard Day's Night", but I ended up watching it myself :)
