Wow, I love your story about how you became a Beatlemaniac!
Congratulations for your 1 year anniversary of being a Beatles fan! ;)
A Hard Day's Night is great, isn't it!? That's what totally got me into The Beatles :-) and it was unintentional that I did! :D

Yes - You are so lucky to have seen Paul! He's just so great! :D

Welcome to Beatlemania! It's a blast!

Profile Information

Proud Beatles Fan since:

How I Got Into The Beatles:
One day, I remember saying to myself, "Why don't I look up the Beatles on Youtube? I've heard so much about them!" I had probably heard or overheard some songs by them before I really got hooked October of 2008. I listened to "Twist and Shout," and "I Want to Hold Your Hand" and I remember thinking, "This is too cool!" Especially the middle-eight of "Twist and Shout," when Paul screams (Ah-ah-ah-AAAAAH). I thought it was just them being really crazy, but now I know that that's Paul being Paul, and that that little scream is really far from being the craziest thing they did. I also remember being instantly in love with the falsetto "Whoo"s in that song. I thought it was cute. After that, I listened to songs I had thought that I had heard before, like "Hello, Goodbye," "Yellow Submarine," and "All you Need is Love" and I thought, "That was the Beatles?" because I had only, for instance, heard the Jonas Brothers version of "Hello, Goodbye" on the Target Commercial - thank God I know have heard the glorious original version instead of that trashed version. I immediately loved the Marseillese bit at the beginning of "All You Need is Love," and the whole orchestral part, as well as the lead vocalist, which I didn't know at that time was John. It sounded familiar, and I loved it! I remember also thinking, "Boy, they did a lot of different music," unknowingly making the observation that is one of the reasons why I love them so much now. Then I heard "Let It Be," and I remember thinking "Wow, he (Paul) looks really different, but he's still got those eyes." I loved the song, of course, and I think that's when my thing for Paul started. My thing for John started much later, when I saw "A Hard Day's Night" for the first time. I thought, "He's beautiful." I kept listening to more of their songs, new ones every time, knowing after a while that I would like everything they did. So I became a fan. As any newbie, I didn't know which Beatle was which, and I thought it incredible for someone to tell their voices apart, but now I can distinguish them after one look, and very much know their voices, their story, their lives, pretty much everything. That's how I became the proud obsessed Beatlemaniac that I am today.
My Fave Beatles Songs/Albums:
Please Please Me
With The Beatles
A Hard Day's Night
Beatles for Sale
Help!
Rubber Soul
Revolver
Sargeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
Magical Mystery Tour
The Double [White] Album
Yellow Submarine
Abbey Road
Let it Be ... Naked

I believe that's all of them. I haven't listened to EVERY song yet, but pretty close. I like something from EVERY Beatles song I've heard, though - the entire musical arrangement, the bass line (go, Paulie!), the drums (Ringo is an all-around masterful drummer), the keyboards, the guitar parts (Georgie and Johnny are just geniuses - all of them are), the voice (This is one that's true for EVERY song, I love their voices - Especially Paul and John's), the melody, the harmony, or the lyrics (Lennon/McCartney and Harrison, need I say more?). They hook me in with one, two, three, or, heck, all of these for every song.
My Favourite Beatles Movie:
A Hard Day's Night AND Help!
Beatle or Beatlegirl I Can Relate To:
I think I can relate to Paul's sweet character. He is not hasty to say whatever comes into his head and ends up saying it the nicest way possible. He's the master of love songs, and he's a true romantic, which I can relate to, because I, too, have a somewhat idealistic view of love.
He has an excellent sweet sense of humor, which I also relate to.

I love John's sarcasm and witty remarks. He is, by far, the funniest Beatle, and he never fails to make me laugh with his "spassie" faces. I love that he is impredictable, intellectual, philosophical, romantic -when he wants to be - and an incorrigible rebel - the bad boy who covers up his insecurities, fears, and problems with his tough exterior, but that is a kind, deep person when you get to know him. I can relate to all of these aspects, because I think they make him quite an interesting person, and I enjoy this.

I can relate to George's spirituality, because I'm very but not overly religious myself. I can also relate to Ringo's relaxed character, because that's how I am as well.
About Myself...
I was born in Bogotá, Colombia. I came to the U.S. in 2004. I speak, read, and write fluent English and Spanish. I graduate from High School in 2010. I often get mistaken for a white American girl, or a Russian girl, because of the complexion of my skin, my curly hair and my soft facial features, even though I'm Hispanic.
I Believe In...
Christianity.
Love and its enormous power.
Music and its earth-shaking potency.
Sometimes I believe that people are truly good at heart.
I Would Like To Meet...
Obviously, I would love to meet Paul and Ringo.
I'm going to see Paulie in concert August 1st in Fed EX Field here in Maryland. I'm so lucky!
I am in Love with...
Paul McCartney and John Lennon - They are breathtaking. Just gorgeous. Both of them. I'm deep in love with them and I feel fine - I'm sorry, I had to do that! I go crazy every time John looks at the camera in a video because he has a very piercing look, which transcends time and space, and still has its full power when it gets to me. How did he do it? I do nothing but smile like an idiot, and sigh. I'm left breathless by their pictures, and their voices.
I love Paul's ...
-Big, droopy, expressive, sweet, puppy-dog hazel eyes.
-Long eyelashes
-Curvy mouth
-Sweet smile
-Child-like disposition
-Cute nose
-Lean body
-Energy on stage

And John's ...
- Piercing almond-shaped eyes
- Long lashes
- Beautiful smile
- Defined jaw
- Long nose
- Lean body

I'm also 100% in love with The Beatles' music, if you didn't guess that before.

I'm in love with music overall.

I'm also in love with love, and everything it entails - even the pain - because it's the most beautiful thing in the world.
