John Lennon vs The US Part II
I just got done reading LBSweets posting about John Lennon vs the US DVD. I too bought the DVD and liked it very much. I also wonder what it would be like if John were alive today. I think he would be very much against the war in the Middle East....different time but same governmental hypocrisy. Hmmm did we ever find those weapons of mass destruction?? Thanks my buddy,I'm hanging in there,I did have a rough summer because of the high heat and humidity really affects my breathing a lot. I couldn't go out too much. I'm hoping the cooler weather comes soon so I can get out a little again. :)
I heard about the new release of Beatles masters. They say it's like listening for the first time. Sounds great but I'll bet expensive if you want to update their whole catalogue. lol yeah you're so right,what are albums these days? That's a lost art,it's all cd's now. I remember when they had singles and picture sleeves and the record albums. I'll bet your kids will be asking you,"daddy what's a record?" lol it's all ancient artifacts now. ;)
They also have a new Beatles game too that looks interesting. Ahh to be young again.
I hope all is going great for you and your family and your kids. I'll bet they know more Beatles songs now. :) Keep playing your guitars my friend and keep serving and doing your job as a fireman. That's a great thing to do,to put yourself in that position to help people. I salute you! :)
