Have You Ever Visited The Imagine Circle?

Yes, I'm talking about the imagine mosaic in Strawberry Fields, Central Park.

If so, how was it? What was your experience being there?

As for me, I went there, what I think when it was Ringo's birthday in July 7th, 2006. It was a sunny day, and I had just "suddenly" stumbled upon it. (Yeah right, I dragged and kept moving along my "friend" towards it by looking at the map).

I looked at the circle, thought it smaller than I had thought it was!

Well, the people there, I felt were weird! They all looked at me very unusually, and there were hippies around with their guitars trying to capture John's presence. It was so amazing!!!
Even though I have been a Beatles/John fan for maybe 7 years now, and living in NYC, I only went there about probably 4 times? No, maybe it was 3. I love the place. It's very relaxing there, and the atmosphere is so totally great unless there are lots of people (haha, I get people-phobic sometimes). It's just so pleasant!

It's definitely a goal of mine. If I lived in NYC, I would go there every single DAY! :D

I have been to the Imagine Circle many times. I grew up in NJ and now live in Florida. I miss it and Strawberry Fields. A very peaceful place which John would be proud!!!! Last time I was there was in Dec. 2005. I put flowers and a card on the circle when visiting my family in NJ. My cousin took me to the circle cause I missed it so much.

All John and Beatles fans are so cool. John represented love, peace, humanity like Ghandi, Christ, or whoever.

Peace and love to all in this sad world right now. Pray for Peace during the Holidays coming up. Food for the poor, health insurance for the people who have no insurance, relief from natural disasters.
