Right now, Paul's "Here Today" is getting to me..

It always had. I remember hearing it every night when I was 14 and kept on crying and crying and wondered who's it for?

Let it Be's always been a tear-jerker for me... it was the video I was watching when I had a meltdown some months ago involving John Lennon, and it still brings tears to my eyes.

I always cry when i hear Let It Be, Here Comes the Sun, Imagine, All you need Is Love and Hey Jude.
They all have such a beautiful message and they are all just amazing songs.

Oh yeah :( Hey Jude REALLY made me cry when I heard it on the radio when I didn't even have one single Beatles album yet.

I heard it play on the radio, crept in close to it, increased the volume, and cried for a total of 6 minutes! and kept on after that and wished I could hear more.

When I got Paul's "Back in the US" album, Hey Jude is heard on there, and wow, that made me cry, too.

I was bawling and even when I watched the DVD for his concert. Darn, I wish I could've gone to his concerts.

Let It Be has always made me cry. It's such a beautiful and moving song. I love it. If I Fell is another one that makes me cry. It's beautiful like Let It Be and I love the vocals on the song. No other band has made me cry when I listen to songs.

I can't remember if I've actually ever cried while hearing a song, but sometimes I'll get in that kind of mood and be kind of sad. Like on the days that John and George passed away, I'll listen to only John songs or George songs and I'll get near tears sometimes. Just hearing a song and remembering them and stuff. For John, Imagine can do that as well as Beautiful Boy and a bunch of Beatles songs. And for George, the stuff on All Things Must Pass and Here Comes the Sun and stuff.I always get teary eyed when I watch the movie Imagine at the part where John dies, and then he's playing and singing Imagine on that white piano in the all white room and it's really sad. Also when I see that one part in Forrest Gump where John is on the talk show. Forrest just says "That nice young man from England was on his way home to see his little boy, and was signing some autographs, somebody shot him." And when you think about it, that's exactly how it was, just really simple like that.

Also, the Concert for George can make me teary eyed, seeing all his old friends like Eric and Paul try to fight the tears while they sing and talk. And that part where Dhani Harrison says something into the microphone near the end. And even when I watch Paul's live concerts on DVD, I can get teary eyed with Here Today, Every Night, Let It Be, and all those songs he wrote for Linda. I kinda got off topic here, but my point is basically that when I see the songs in movies, I can get especially teary eyed over them, even when they aren't songs that I normally do when just listening. It's amazing how powerful music is. And wow, that was a really long response, sorry about that!

If I Fell In Love With You...it's all my fears and hopes...and it gets me whenever I hear it. I think it makes me cry in a good way though. Let It Be makes me cry everytime I hear it too. It's just such a powerful song.

1. Here Today by Paul (Obviously)
2. Jealous Guy by John - "I began to lose control," "I was shivering inside," "I was swallowing my Pain" are the lines that make me cry.
3. How do you Sleep? by John - Because it makes me cry to hear him so angry at his practically brother Paul.
4. When we were Fab by George
5. All those Years ago by George
6. Beautiful Boy by John
7. My Love by Paul - Because Linda died and he wrote it for her.
8. Maybe I'm Amazed by Paul - Same reason as "My Love"

Amazingly, no Beatles song has ever made me really cry. I just feel the deep sadness all over, and love the music.

Oh man, there are sooo many Beatles songs and solo songs that make me cry...
especially on days like this (John's 29 year death anniversary) :,(
Pretty much every solo song by John & George because they are no longer here with us... :(
also all the songs done by a Beatle as a tribute to another Beatle (All Those Years Ago, Never Without You, Here Today, etc. and eventhough Photograph was done before George died I now think of it as Ringo's tribute to George... he even said "the meaning of the song has changed now" at The Concert For George)
Let It Be, Hey Jude, In My Life and lots more make me cry. Even some happy early Beatles songs make me cry I dunno why I guess I just feel the happiness in those songs and think about any tragedies that happened later on but sometimes I see The Beatles and it makes me cry with happiness :)

You know what? I'm actually listening to the song "Jealous Guy" by John right now as I type this and trying not to cry... it's funny how he just said "I was swalloing my pain" which is what I was doing but I ended up crying anyway and then he said "I'm sorry that I made you cry". :)
Let's try and think of today as a celebration of his life instead of the anniversary of his death. :)
