If you're thinking of making a last-minute trip to Halifax, tickets are still available. The best bet is to go directly through the concert's official box office. General admission access costs $136, with reserved VIP seating going for $316. Most centrally-located hotels are now fully booked, but there are still a few rooms to be found.

Mayor of Liverpool, Canada, invites Sir Paul for fish and chips

The mayor of Liverpool, Canada, has written to Paul McCartney and invited him to visit the namesake of his birthplace since he's going to be in Halifax next week anyway. The third annual International Ukulele Ceilidh will be held there in October. "We know he's a bit of a ukulele aficionado," said Mayor John Leefe, who is a big Beatles fan himself.

Here's some up to date pictures of a fabulous time I had last month...my 4th year there! I'm gonna have to remove some of the doubles but not tonite! This computer is driving me crazy and I've spent the last of my patience on it for now! I'll clean it up another time!

I thought I would have new ones, but the fesitval wasn't held there again this year due to conflicting engagements but I understand there will be another AROTR Belleville next year! I still have a few more pics from Abbey Road on the River Louisville from last month that I will painstakingly post due to the fact that my computer is old and tired and it ain't easy uploading!
